Coolgardie Children"s Centre is an award winning centre located in East Corrimal. Coolgardie caters for children from six weeks to school age
Coolgardie has been purpose built and has three separate areas catering for the needs of children of all ages. The under two room has two cot rooms and enrols up to 12 babies daily. The 2 and 3 year old room has up to 16 children daily and the pre school room approximately 20 children per day. The staff ratio is well above requirements and across the centre the staff / child ratio is approx 1:5 for most of each day. Three university trained staff are employed and also 5 staff with a Diploma in Children's Studies. Each room also has a full time child care trainee.
Coolgardie provides all meals for children including a hot lunch and dessert each day.
